Maximum's Harbormaster Tide Clock is a stunning addition to any nautical home or office! This isn't just a functional weather instrument, it is art!
Featuring a PVD treated, solid brass case with black dial and white numerals, its classy style is very easy to read.
PVD cases are ideal for instruments that do not receive regular cleaning and/or are exposed to harsh salt air environments. Maximum's process starts with a solid brass case that is then chrome plated and treated with a Titanium finishing coat that has been colored to re-create the beautiful brass finish you expect from Maximum. The end product results in an incredible tarnish resistance, giving you many years of a like-new, tarnish free appearance for your Maximum instrument.
Tracks according to average time between high lunar tides in the Atlantic Ocean (12 hours, 25 minutes). Fluctuations in conditions, location and the distance of the moon from Earth can affect this average. However, over a lunar month, Maximum's Harbormaster will provide a practical indication of local tides.
A simple mounting system makes it easy to remove from the wall for battery replacement or to make adjustments for different locations.
